    Art Therapy supports the treatment goals of people seeking emotional growth and wellness. It is used to improve cognitive and sensory-motor functions, foster self-esteem and self awareness, cultivate emotional resilience, promote insight, enhance social skills, reduce and resolve conflicts and distress, and more.

  • Can I do art therapy?

    Yes! No experience or skills are required to engaged in art therapy.

    Haven Christian Counseling offers a unique space where adults, teens, and children can engage in Art Therapy at a faith-based counseling practice. We acknowledge that spirituality affects every aspect of our lived experience, and therefore informs the way that we understand and address mental health and relational issues.

    Please keep in mind that we are never seeking to impose beliefs on others. Haven is a safe place to rest for all people.
