Fees

Payment is due at time of service. Cash, check and all major credit cards are accepted. HSA and FSA funds can also be used for counseling services.

Counseling sessions are 55 minutes in length. Rates vary based on services and are listed below.

Individual counseling: $140

Couples’ counseling: $150

Family therapy: $150

Insurance

Update: Effective July 1st, 2024, we will no longer be accepting insurance for couple’s counseling or family therapy services. For more information about this change, feel free to email our office at intake@havenrva.com

Most of our clinicians are in-network with Blue Cross and Blue Shield insurance plans for individual therapy services. All other insurance plans are on an out-of-network basis.

You may be able to receive out-of-network reimbursement from your insurance provider, but you will be responsible for all fees at the time of service. We are happy to provide an appropriate diagnostic invoice for submission to your insurance company.

Cancellation policy

We ask that you give us as much notice as possible if you suspect you will not be able to make your appointment. Appointment times are limited so space is valuable and reserved for those who truly need it. Appointments cancelled less than 24 hours before the appointment time will be charged a the full session fee.
