Individual Therapy

You don’t have to do this alone.

There are a lot of hard steps that you’ve taken to reach this point. The last step may be acknowledging that it’s ok if you need help. It’s ok to talk to someone about the things that have been going on in your life this month, this year, or for as long as you can remember. We firmly believe that all of us could benefit from individual therapy in different seasons of stress or transition. Our staff is trained to address a range of clinical mental health concerns. We’d love to talk.

What types of issues are treated in individual therapy?

The staff at Haven Christian Counseling is trained to address a range of issue in individual therapy including:

Depression

Anxiety

Post-traumatic Stress Disorder

Bipolar Disorder

Stress related to life transitions

Marital conflict or distress

Family conflict

Questions of faith and identity

Sometimes the concerns that bring us to therapy don’t even fit into specific categories. Maybe you haven’t been feeling like yourself for a while and you’re not sure why. Or work has become so stressful that you are dreading Monday mornings. All of these issues and more can be appropriate for individual therapy. At Haven Christian Counseling our goal is to provide effective and supportive therapy that addresses these issues and more. Please reach out today to schedule an appointment.

Our trained staff are equipped to provide therapy for a range of issues. We are offering in-person and virtual appointments at our office in the Northside of Richmond, serving the surrounding areas of Richmond City, including Henrico, Glen Allen, Midlothian and Mechanicsville.
