Alexa Houff, LPC.
Alexa Houff is a licensed professional counselor with experience in child and adolescent inpatient and adult outpatient treatment. Alexa has a passion for working with teens and young adults seeking help with depression, anxiety, life transitions, identity development, family dynamics, and trauma.
She graduated with a Bachelors of Arts in Psychology & Religion from James Madison University and with her Masters in Mental Health Counseling from Virginia Commonwealth University. Alexa utilizes relational, collaborative, cognitive behavioral, and person-centered approaches to build a warm and positive relationship with her clients and meet the needs of each unique individual. She is accepting of all people, cultures, and backgrounds, and feels it is an honor to walk with people through difficult parts of life.
Outside the office, Alexa loves to hike, explore Richmond coffee shops, and snuggle her golden retriever pup!
